We are putting the family dog to sleep on Tuesday.
I got my work shift covered so i can be there, but I don't know what else to do for myself.
He's been a part of me for the last fourteen years (almost).
How can do say good bye to that in two days?

I think my family dog is permanently returning to its pokeball (its name is Pikachu) very soon. However, I can only minimally empathize; I honestly don't care much for pets, and my dog has been ill for a long time now (causing sadness for itself and my family, as well as displeasure and discomfort in caring for it - it is the smelliest, most bladder handicapped little guy ever). In either case, I'm sorry for your loss.
My advice: Watch Errol Morris' Gates of Heaven.
